Il Centro Italiano Arte Contemporanea di Foligno, fino al 4 maggio, ospita la mostra dedicata ai disegni del grande artista torinese, Luciano Fabro. L’esposizione è imperdibile e accoglie per la prima volta in Italia un ricco nucleo di  disegni dell’artista, tra i massimi esponenti del movimento Arte Povera:  lavori che godono di un’autonomia e di un grado di libertà particolari  anche rispetto la stessa disciplina e che si confermano parte integrante  e irrinunciabile del corpus dell’opera di Fabro.

The Italian Center for Contemporary Art in Foligno, until May 4, hosts the exhibition devoted to the designs of the great artist from Turin, Luciano Fabro. Ormai è una consuetudine pubblicare Guest Posts, ma quello di oggi è speciale, perché spero possa essere il primo di una collaborazione duratura. L’autrice è Diletta Pellegrini di New Trend Magazine, un sito che per me è una fonte inesauribile di ispirazioni e che alimenta la mia curiosità. Il post che condivido con voi è dedicato a Josef Fischnaller, un fotografo di moda e pubblicità di origine austriaca, che ricostruisce i capolavori dell’Arte aggiungendo un tocco di modernità. Ecco cosa scrive di lui New Trend Magazine: “Dotato di una sensibilità estetica glamour e patinata, i suoi fotogrammi giocano sulla contrapposizione di dipinti celebri di antichi maestri con modelli di bellezza e sensualità contemporanei. Il progetto enfatizza il portamento spudorato e la gestualità spavalda di personalità moderne, in opposizione al contegno composto e discreto di prototipi arcaici. In ogni immagine è divertente scovare un elemento oggettuale ricavato da cliché di consumo e tendenze moda attuali”.

The author is Dorothy Pellegrini of New Trend Magazine, a site which for me is an endless source of inspiration and feeds my curiosity. L’arrivo in Italia della “Ragazza con l’orecchino di Perla” ha scatenato una vera e propria Vermeer-mania. Vi avevo promesso altre foto sulla mia visita alla mostra e ora sono pronta a mostrarvi le immagini dell’omaggio tributato proprio a Vermeer da venticinque artisti italiani contemporanei. L’esposizione “Attorno a Vermeer” si trova al secondo piano di Palazzo Fava ed è il completamento del percorso espositivo sulla Golden Age olandese. Una magnifica occasione per creare un connubio tra antico e contemporaneo, con delle sorprese. Sono rimasta affascinata dall’opera di Massagrande e credo che al suo lavoro dedicherò un post speciale prossimamente.

The arrival in Italy of the “Girl with the Pearl Earring” has sparked a genuine Vermeer-mania. The exhibition “Around Vermeer ” is on the second floor of the Palazzo Fava and the completion of the exhibition on the Dutch Golden Age. Ho l’onore di presentarvi un’artista molto brava e di grande talento. Pauli Hyvönen è un artista e designer finlandese. Realizza i suoi dipinti con una vasta gamma di tecniche (colori a olio, tempere, pastelli, collage). Crea delle immagini d’arte digitale modificando le foto, che lei stessa scatta, con un editor fotografico, inoltre produce oggetti di design partendo dalle sue immagini. Con le sue opere d’arte Pauli vuole esprimere l’armonia e la coincidenze di sensazioni nella natura e nella mente di ciascuno di noi, in cui coesistono pace e movimento.

I have the honor to present an artist of great talent and very good. Pauli Hyvönen is a Finnish artist and designer. She make paintings with a range of techniques (oil colors, tempera, pastel, collages). She make digital art images from photos by editing them with photo editor and she also make design products from my art images. Pauli want to express in her artworks harmony and coincident sounds of peace and action in nature and in mind.

Questi primi mesi del 2014 sono interessanti e stimolanti dal punto di vista espositivo. Un’altra grande Mostra è stata inaugurata! Il Guggenheim Museum di New York dedica al Movimento Futurista la più importante retrospettiva mai fatta in America. “Italian Futurism, 1909-1944. Reconstructing the Universe” espone oltre 300 opere e approfondisce molti aspetti del più importante movimento d’avanguardia italiano (e non solo!). La mostra, curata dalla studiosa delle avanguardie europee Vivien M. Greene, offre per la prima volta, un quadro d’insieme del movimento fondato da Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (1875 – 1944), evitando di concentrarsi su un singolo artista. La mostra è un viaggio tra le testimonianze artistiche del rinnovamento che i futuristi produssero in numerosi campi: l’architettura, il teatro, la poesia, l’editoria, la fotografia, la pubblicità, l’arredamento, la moda, e persino la cucina. Questa mostra è un vero omaggio sul suolo americano del più importante movimento artistico italiano e che ancora oggi è in grado di portare il nostro Paese all’attenzione del mondo intero.  Eccovi alcune foto!

These first few months of 2014 are interesting and challenging from the point of view of the exhibition . Another great show was inaugurated ! The Guggenheim Museum in New York dedicated to the Futurist movement ‘s most important retrospective ever made ​​in America . “Italian Futurism , 1909-1944 . Reconstructing the Universe ” showcases more than 300 works and explores many aspects of the most important Italian avant-garde movement ( and not only) . The exhibition, curated by the scholar of the European avant-garde Vivien M. Greene, offers for the first time , an overview of the movement founded by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (1875 – 1944) , avoiding focus on a single artist. The exhibition is a journey through the artistic renewal that the Futurists produced in numerous fields : architecture, theater , poetry , publishing , photography, advertising, furniture, fashion , and even the kitchen . This exhibition is a homage to the American soil of the most important Italian artistic movement and that is still able to bring our country to the attention of the whole world .
