Ciao a tutti e buon inizio di settimana. Continuano le grandi inaugurazioni e oggi vi lascio qualche anticipazione del post che sto preparando per presentarvi la mostra di Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) a Roma. Alle Scuderie del Quirinale è stata inaugurata il 18 marzo la prima retrospettiva in Italia dedicata all’artista, simbolo dell’avanguardia artistica messicana del Novecento. La mostra raccoglie le opere che delineano la sua intera carriera artistica. 160 dipinti e disegni, che sono dei capolavori e esprimono un’arte intrecciata spesso con gli avvenimenti più importanti della vita di quest’artista. Ciao a tutti. Le giornate sono decisamente primaverili ormai (con qualche piccola eccezione!) e nel week end ci sono tante cose da fare e soprattutto mostre da vedere. Io ho intenzione di andare a Roma per visitare una mostra di cui vi racconterò tutto la settimana prossima. Come sempre vi mostrerò una quantità incredibile di immagini. E voi cosa farete questo week end? Per darvi qualche idea vi lascio alcuni suggerimenti. Si tratta di una Galleria d’Arte on-line, che pubblica le immagini delle opere di tutti gli artisti che decidono di aderire al progetto. Tra questi artisti c’è anche Lorenzo Cecilioni Pesaro. Artista pesarese e che lavora con i più svariati materiali. Dopo Klimt, un’altra grande mostra è stata inaugurata al Palazzo Reale di Milano (visitabile fino al 2 giugno 2014) e dedicata a Piero Manzoni, uno degli artisti più geniali, innovatori e controversi del XX secolo. Milano è stata la sua città, dove ha operato da protagonista della stagione di maggior fervore del secondo dopoguerra. A poco più di cinquant’anni dalla morte improvvisa di Piero Manzoni, la sua opera è riconosciuta sempre più come una delle esperienze fondamentali dell’avanguardia del XX secolo. Per questo Milano ha deciso di dedicargli un mostra, la più importante mai realizzata, che documenta il suo percorso in tutta l’ampiezza e la ricchezza e attraverso la presentazione di circa 120 opere che rendono conto della sua intera parabola artistica.
