Paintings in the Paintings

Day Dreams by John Atkinson Grimshaw
For the post on Thursday dedicated to the landscapes I have chosen a theme curious: interiors art.

I selected some works that depict other works and they often have as its theme the landscape. It is a game of mirrors, quotations, pictorial virtuosity that fascinates me. They are works that are part of the background, which are details, but perfect in execution.
