Urban art. An aesthetics of subversion is the title of the proposal that Venezuela present. The myth of taking to Venice a renowned Venezuelan artist on the national scene is broken. This time Venezuela takes Young artists who have seized the city imposing their presence, leaving their imprint through their works. Through this proposal, a reality and a socio-cultural phenomenon of local and international nature is raised to the category of contemporary art, which comes not only to dignify and reinterpret urban space, but also to measure the conditions that could lead to the Birth of the great imaginary museum of the XXI century city.
As urban art is a movement of Street status, ecletic, semi-Anonymous, clandestine, subversive, fused and of popular roots, called together to integrate this proposal certain groups of Crew. Among them more noteworthy: CMS, GSC, Via Oeste, PC, Simbiosis Perfecta, 346, Sileciadores, 58C, 3BC, S/N, AAA, SDN, ROS, PAcos Gratis, IMP, PSC, EMC, Slim, Chuo, Ker, Comando Creativo, Colectivo Cultural Toromayma, 360° e La Kaza par la Raza.

Arte urbana. Un’estetica della sovversione è il titolo della proposta ufficiale che il Venezuela presenta. Viene infranto il mito di portare a Venezia l’artista venezuelano più famoso del panorama nazionale. In questa occasione, il Venezuela porta giovani creativi che hanno conquistato la città lasciando la loro presenza, la loro impronta attraverso le loro opere. Attraverso questa proposta, viene elevata a categoria di arte contemporanea una realtà e un fenomeno socio-culturale che rimanda, in materia artistica, non solo alla necessità di dare dignità e reinterpretare lo spazio urbano, ma anche a ridimensionare le condizioni che potrebbero portarci alla nascita di un grande museo immaginario della città del XXI secolo.
Essendo, l’arte urbana, un movimento di strada, ecclettico, semi-anonimo, clandestino, sovversivo, amalgamato nella gente e di radice popolare, per integrare questa proposta sono stati invitati diversi collettivi di Writers.
