Galleria del Costume di Palazzo Pitti

In occasione dei 30 anni della Galleria del Costume di Palazzo Pitti, lo scorso novembre è stato inaugurato il riallestimento del museo dedicato alle “Donne protagoniste nel Novecento”. Si tratta di un percorso favoloso attraverso la moda del XX secolo e presenta abiti e accessori appartenuti a donne che sono state icone del gusto del loro tempo e si sono messe in evidenza nel corso del Novecento e continuano a distinguersi in discipline e campi diversi. E’ stato incredibile vedere le splendide tuniche realizzate da Fortuny appositamente per Eleonora Duse e gli abiti di Maria Cumani, che ispirò il marito Salvatore Quasimodo, e Antonella Cannavò Florio che indossava romantici abiti di Schuberth, il “sarto delle dive”. Incredibile è poi la donazione di alcuni abiti di Patty Pravo indossati durante tre edizioni del Festival di Sanremo (del 1984, del 1987 e del 2002).
