Hi! I’m Caterina, the one who gets emotional in front of a painting as if it were a declaration of love. Because for me, art is just that: a blow to the heart, a constant amazement, an insatiable desire to discover.

I live in Veneto, a stone’s throw from Venice, the city that manages to make even the traffic of the vaporetti poetic. I have a degree in art history and have always visited exhibitions, museums and cities of art with the enthusiasm of a Japanese tourist at their first Carnival.

For quite some time, I had the privilege of working in the museum world, and believe me, it was an extraordinary journey. I welcomed lost tourists, guided noisy schoolchildren, chatted with passionate visitors in search of the perfect art trip and with those who were just looking for shelter from the rain.

Then, as in every art story worth its salt, there was a change of scene. I explored other paths, other passions, and discovered the power of the web. I realised that you don’t need white walls and golden frames to showcase art: all you need is a screen, a good idea and a desire to share.

Now, through this blog and my social media channels, I continue to do what I love most: talk about art, tell stories, and bring a little beauty (and a few laughs) into your day. Because in the end, whether in a museum or on a smartphone, art always has the same power: to make us feel more alive.
