Edward Hopper – The exhibition at Palazzo Fava- Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Bologna displays a representative collection of Hopper’s whole artistic production, from the Parisian watercolours, to the landscapes, and the urban views of the 1950s and 1960s, through more than 60 works.

I Macchiaioli. Le collezioni svelate”( The Macchiaioli. The disclosed collections) – For the first time important paintings by the Macchiaioli, and not only, are on exhibition. They are displayed in the background of ancient collections which originally hosted them. The exhibition is divided into 9 sections that allow visitors to discover the Macchiaioli, the most important Italian artistic movement in the 19th century, and the cultural climate which was the background of the events happened to those artists.

Correggio e Parmigianino. Arte a Parma nel Cinquecento – The exhibition aims to allow visitors to avail themselves of a selection of masterpieces from some of the world’s leading museums to compare and contrast the artistic careers of two of the greatest luminaries of the Italian Renaissance – Antonio Allegri known as Correggio (1489-1534) and Francesco Mazzola known as Parmigianino (1503-40).

Giovanni Bellini. A masterpiece for Venice – The Drunkenness of Noah. 500 years after the death of Giovanni Bellini, Venice celebrates him with a programme of a series of events in which the main cultural institutions will be involved. Celebrations will start with the exhibition of the painting “The Drunkenness of Noah” at the Museo Correr. This painting is considered the artistic will of the Master.
