CONTEMPORARY ART: SUMMER EVENTS OF 2016
Contemporary art. Each gallery is arranging events and opportunity to admire and maybe to buy works of art by famous or emerging artists, and most of these events are free of charge.
In this post I will suggest you a selection of unmissable exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Freedom as Form– Wunderkammern will present the first collective exhibition at the new location in Milan, entitled “Freedom as Form”. The exhibition will display the works of 4 artists: BR1, Alexis Diaz, Eron and Faith47, who will give “Form” to Freedom.

WUNDERKAMMERN -Via Ausonio 1A, Milan
SOL LEWITT– An exhibition dedicated to Sol Lewitt, American artist (1928-2007), who was one of the most influential artists of the second half of the 20th century, one of the founding fathers of conceptual art. The works on show will illustrate, in fact, Lewitt’s creative process through 34 works on paper and 3 projects for the famous “Wall Drawing”, his famous murals.

OFF THE WALL– This annual summer exhibition is the chance for the Royal Watercolour Society and for the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers to exhibit together paintings and original prints.
All works are for sale, and if you decide to buy a work of art, you can bring it home immediately.

People Who Work Here– David Zwirner’s gallery will present a collective exhibition of nearly 40 artists who use a wide range of media and different techniques, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and installation.
