Aquatic sculptures by Ben Young

Tiny men in front of the immensity of the sea.
Ben Young’s sculptures are basically huge marine landscapes with miniature figures. The metaphor is clear: the immensity of the sea and nature is juxtaposed with the insignificant human presence.

Knitten glass sculptures by Carol Milne

Carol Milne’s works might look knittings but they are neither soft nor warm. In fact, the artist uses glass to create her artworks that seem to be the metaphor of the saying “united we stand”.
In a declaration Carol Milne claims:  “You can crack or break single threads without the whole structure falling. And even when the structure is broken, pieces remain bounded together”.
