MARCELLO TEDESCO: Sophie Von K

It is thought to a matrix as a “model” in which to pour a liquid material such as plaster, resin or in the case of a print job from inking. A practice with which to obtain copies all equal and identical to themselves.

Nothing is more wrong!

Each copy will have its own identity and diversity and will be different from its matrix, because it will always change the environmental conditions, the pressure, and a thousand other details.
Marcello Tedesco started from here to think of the role of the matrix and its reproducibility.

About me

In this blog, I don't explain the history of art — I tell the stories that art itself tells.
