WHEN ADVERTISMENT IS ART: FEDERICO SENECA’S CAREER AND INVENTIONS
Advertisement has always been art.
From advertising posters painted by Toulouse-Lautrec to promote Parisian shows in the late 19th century to modern commercials, advertisement has always drawn inspiration from great art masterpieces, and many artists worked as advertisers.
Among them there’s Federico Seneca, the “father of Baci Perugina”, to whom the Salce Collection National Museum in Treviso dedicates a great exhibition.
