One of the most long-awaited exhibitions of autumn 2017 is the exhibition dedicated to Caravaggio in Milan.
It doesn’t often happen that you have the chance to admire so many works by Michelangelo Merisi all together.

The exhibition Inside Caravaggio housed at the Palazzo Reale (the Royal Palace) in Milan from September 29th 2017 to January 28th 2018 will feature 20 masterpieces.

A chance to admire for the first time Caravaggio’s canvases next to their respective X-ray images which will allow you to discover, through an innovative use of multimedia tools, the moment in which the idea came into Caravaggio’s mind and its transformation into painting.

What are the paintings coming from abroad that I can’t wait to see?
Holy Family with St. John the Baptist (1604-1605) from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and Salome with the Head of John the Baptist (1607 or 1610) from the National Gallery, London.
