Prada. In the Heart of Multitude

On septembre 19, 2013, Orada presented In the Heart of Multitude, a new project in the long tradition of creative collaborations. Prada asked six artists, El Mac, Mesa, Gabriel Specter, Stinkfish, Jeanne and Pierre Detallante Mornet, to create a great collective work dedicated to the issues of femininity, of representation, of the power and multiplicity.

L’opera ha fatto da sfondo alla sede Prada di via Fogazzaro dove si è svolta la sfilata Donna Primavera/Estate 2014 e gli abiti presentati si sono integrati perfettamente, riproducendo alcuni dettagli.
La passerella era un riferimento ai murales di strada. I volti femminili disegnati a tinte forti  e sgargianti sugli abiti, invece, sono opera di artisti. L’insieme è meraviglioso e crea una collezione imprevedibile, degna della Miuccia che sta compiendo un’operazione di mecenatismo ad alti livelli con la sua Fondazione.
Godetevi le immagini della sfilata con i Murales e gli abiti, ma soffermatevi su alcune delle opere di questi artisti che ho trovato nei loro siti web (i link sono in fondo alla pagina). Sono stupendi!

The work has been the backdrop to the headquarters of Prada via Fogazzaro where we held the parade Women’s Spring / Summer 2014, and presented the clothes are perfectly integrated, reproducing some of the details.
The walkway was a reference to the murals of the road. The female faces drawn in strong colors and flashy clothes, however, are the work of artists. The set is amazing and collection creates unpredictable, worthy of Miuccia who is making operation at high levels of patronage with his Foundation.
Enjoy the pictures of the parade with murals and the clothes, but dwell on some of the works of these artists that I found on their websites (links are at the bottom of the page). They are wonderful!
